Receiving the Holy Ghost | Salvation Package Lesson 4 DVD

It's Never Been Easier to Understand the Gospel.

Have you received the Holy Ghost? How can you know for certain?

Jesus promised His followers something extraordinary: the power of the Holy Ghost.

In Acts 1:8, Jesus declared, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you."

But what does it actually mean to receive the Holy Ghost? Is this experience available to every believer? How does someone receive it? And what role does the Holy Ghost play in God's plan of salvation?

In Receiving the Holy Ghost, Bible teacher Irvin Baxter answers these important questions through a clear, Scripture-based examination of one of the most powerful promises in the New Testament.

Drawing from the teachings of Jesus and the experiences recorded in the Book of Acts, Irvin explains the biblical purpose of receiving the Holy Ghost, the evidence that accompanies this experience, and why it remains essential to understanding the New Testament message of salvation.

In This Teaching, You'll Discover:

• What the Holy Ghost Is: Understanding the Spirit of God and His work in the lives of believers

God's Promise Is Still for You.

On the Day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter declared:

"For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." — Acts 2:39

The Holy Ghost was not simply a promise for the first-century church.

It's a promise for believers today.

In Receiving the Holy Ghost, Irvin Baxter explains why the experience described in Acts 2 remains relevant and how anyone seeking a deeper relationship with God can respond to His promise.

Whether you're wondering if you've received the Holy Ghost, seeking to experience the infilling of the Spirit for the first time, or wanting to help someone else understand this essential biblical teaching, this lesson provides practical, Scripture-based answers.

It's an excellent resource for personal Bible study, new believer discipleship, salvation studies, Sunday school classes, and small groups.
